As a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, the Strawberry Line Society has a committee elected by its members. Have a say in the direction and objectives of the Society, attend AGMs and receive regular members-only newsletters. In addition, you get to financially support a cause you believe in.

Volunteering
Volunteers carry out most path maintenance, from vegetation clearance to path sweeping, fencing or tree planting. Infinitely cheaper than the gym, considerably more sociable and definitely more purposeful. No commitment required! Join us once a year or turn up every week, it’s up to you. We even have a group of locals in Shepton Mallet who have ‘adopted a shrub’. During the hot summer, whilst out for their daily walk, they take a small container with them and water their shrub identified by a coloured ribbon!
It’s not just path and plant maintenance we need volunteers for. If time or ability doesn’t allow physical work we need people who can help build, maintain and develop our website; help keep on top of our social media presence; monitor local planning applications affecting the path; administrative organisation. If this is more your skill set, please let us know. ‘Every Little Helps, as the saying goes!
We have registered as a good cause with a website called easyfundraising. If individuals also register with the site and select the Strawberry Line Society as their chosen cause, then participating retailers will give us a percentage of any money spent with them online. It is an easy way for us to raise much needed cash and costs you nothing, so if you are prepared to help us in this way please register using the following link.
