We wouldn’t be able to achieve what we do without the generous help we get from both sponsors and partners
The list of businesses and organisations that support our work and goals could be endless. A big thank you goes to Somerset and North Somerset Councils, their councilors and officers, for the support they give us in building and maintaining this path.
This page is ‘work in progress’ and we hope that when our new website is launched, we can acknowledge everybody that supports the work we do. Please do not take any omission from this list as us not wishing to acknowledge the work you do.
A big THANK YOU from all the Trustees, Members, Volunteers and Users of The Strawberry Line
Kress UK are our preferred supplier of cordless power tools and have very generously sponsored a whole range of landscape management tools to us since mid 2025.
The Germany engineering company was started in 1928 but only entered the UK market in 2023 with its advanced line of cordless outdoor power equipment and robotic mowers, for both professional and domestic use.
Their range of equipment is available from a specialist dealer network, and we are grateful to Country Life Stores Ltd for their support and backup.

Greenway and Cycleroutes Limited is a charitable organisation formed in January 2016 to help local groups to develop walking and cycling routes for and run by the local community. They are the driving force for the construction of our path in Somerset, and for the wider Somerset Circle. They have also been involved in numerous similar projects throughout the UK.
We cannot thank enough John Grimshaw, Caroline Levett and their team of trustees and dedicated supporters for all the work they put into developing not only the Strawberry Line, but all the other paths in Somerset and surrounding counties without which, safe active travel for all of us would not be possible.
Full details of the work they do and the paths they have created can be found on the link below

The Mendip Hills National Landscape (MHNL) is designated as an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), one of 46 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are fortunate that a large section of the Strawberry Line passes through the MHNL and we work closely with them to enable access for all to both the Mendip Hills and the path.
Through generous grants in 2025 and 2026 we have and are creating and improving accessibility to the Strawberry Line and the wider MHNL area with the creation of viewpoints and destinations, installation of accessible benches, widening and resurfacing of paths, improved signage, art projects and enabling us to maintain the path sections already created.
Our thanks go out to Jim Hardcastle (Manager) and the whole team at MHNL for the support they give us.
